GI-Gue and Sealed- J

I know its says a 1/12603 chance or something of finding it from a gi-gue, but has anyone else found it in less then that? i need encouragement cause i dont think i could kill the Gi-gue 12 thousand + times. Sigh.

I believe Muff found it off his 1st or 2nd Gi Gue after buying Plus.

Anyways, just keep in mind that each Gi Gue you kill gives you a 1/12k chance of finding it. It doesn't mean that you will find it after killing 12k.

I think i have killed the gi-gue 100 times give or take a few. I don't wanna kill him anymore than 300 if i have to, shoot, i wish i was online.

Are you kidding, 12k plus. im gunna say some prayers. especially since i can only kill one every 15-20 mins. sigh.

Your odds of finding the SJS within 300 Gi Gues are very low.

It takes a lot of dedication to find something with those odds. If you are not motivated to earn a SJS, you might as well give up now.

I just realized that if i were to kill 10 gi-gues a day it would take me almost 4 years to get to 12,000, give or take a bunch of numbers.

Do you have online capabilities? If so, I found running either the first room of Phantasmal World#1 (2 Gi Gues in a couple of minutes) over and over was good until I was leveled up enough. Then I switched to Phantasmal World #4, first 2 floors. (5 Gi Gues IIRC).

Is there any translated version of PSO plus? cause i can't read japanese and that would frigin suck. its shows that is been out for 2 years so why isn't there a US version. i really wouldn't want to lose my items either. lol.

Phantasy Star Online Episode 1&2 Plus can be viewed as an expansion for Episode1&2. If features a few bug fixes and sports some additional quests. It was released in the fall of 2004 for $30. You should be able to pick it up from your local video game store.

PSO Plus is the later installment of Ep. 1 and 2, and is exactly similar to it except for a few minor changes. The most notable change for Plus is that it includes quests that used to be online only, like East Tower, West Tower, and Seat of the Heart.

I hope that helps, I really don't know that much about PSO Plus, with the exception of the quests.

Well so far i found a monogrinder from the Gi-gue, i think he is starting to like me, im going to take this as a good sign. Pretty soon, not long from now i shall find my Sealed-J from my good friend Gi-Gue. YAY!

I would save the S-J Sword hunt for a later time, go find some other really good hunter weapons. Besides, S-J Sword is really overrated, there's plenty of weapons that are very good in comparison to S-J Sword and alot easier to get as well. Besides, once you do get the S-J Sword... you have to kill a bajesuz load of creatures to unseal it...

well i have a demo comet and sange, so i figured i'd get sealed-J then yasha, that way i can kill a bajillion indi belras or make a character to kill a bajillion melqueeks! But what other rares would you recomend i hunt for a HUcast? i'm going to do agito real after i get my HUcast up some levels.

wait, 1st... the Oritiagito is definetaly not worth it. 3 hit-Single Target-Close ranged weapons aren't very good, many will agree. Especially Katanas... the animation for Katana is considerably slow. And the Oritiagito is a very overrated weapon as well.

Many people will look at stats on a weapon before even thinking of special abilities or boosting factors. I recomend Chain Sawd especially for a HUcast. It looks pretty cool, sounds pretty cool, it's special is GUSH which is awesome for androids, because it strikes multiple targets... you can easiliy gain alot of health in one strike... depending on how many targets are in range. It's ATP is really strong as well, and it's not all that difficult to find really, if you Skyly... which I assume you are if your looking for S-J Sword... go to Caves and take on the Vulmer population. Also, GoVulmers give Red Swords, which is a pretty buff weapon as well... but the damage ranges greatly so... I'd say Chain Sawd > Red Sword... but let your opinion take charge in that case.
I'm sure someone is gunna disagree with my 2 cents... but meh... my biggest advice... don't let ATP factors take over when you want something. Check it's Special, see if it increases something, check how much the Grind factor is, etc...
For example, alot of people think Double Cannon has the most ATP for a Twin Saber... which technically it does, but if you fully grind a Black King Bar... which that thing grinds to +80, it becomes stronger than Double Cannon, but the Double Cannon still has +2 more ATA... but that's not a huge difference >_>
