Question about hunting rares dropped from Canane

Just wondering if the piping trick (kill the red one, pipe out, repeat) works when trying to get rares off of them, or is there only a chance for a rare on the first spawn?

they can only drop one item each, they are kindalike the host monster, and only a host monster can drop an item........it's meh for exp...but

If you're online on v3, do the first room of Mop Up 3 over and over. If you're on BB, either get lucky or wait for Mop Up 3. >_>;

Yeah, Mop Up 3 is the way to go, I've done 1395 runs in about two months on and off, it takes like, half an hour to do 10 runs, but I've still not got my rare... Damn you Canune! (Shakes fist!!!) Let me have my Yasminkov 9000M!!!
