Will GCN have a Web Browser like Dreamcast? Im just making sure, not being stupid.

I don't know if it's been confirmed yet, but i'm pretty sure they almost have to, sense xbox and ps2 are.

From what I've heard there is a web broswer in Eps. I & II. Dunno about a stand alone one.

And what sources confirmed a web browser for the Xbox?

I thought they weren't going to make one, since everybody that's paying for Xbox Live will have broadband, and most likely a computer as well.

nintendo has said numerous times the gamecube is a game machine and nothing else(well with the exception of the gc dvd hybrid).

I myself doubt they will make a stand-alone web browser. They will probably have what they do for V2 where you can connect to the internet to buy a hunters liscence, but no more.

Even if it doesn't, does it really matter? I mean how many of you prefer the DC browser over your ISP? I mean, the zoom picture is pretty good for por-.. pictures but you can't really download anything and the speed isn't incredible either. I know this is just assuming the GC browser will be like the DC one if there is one, but even if there isn't, who cares?
