I was just curious, since the DC servers are all going down, will anyone be playing offline mode?
Or will you just drop PSO and sit patiently waiting?

I won't be, but im sure after servers go down, pso will be like any other non-online game. One day when your bored, pick it up, and take a run through the forest.

Eh, I don't enjoy PSO very much in offline mode.

I have downloaded the PC network trial to tide me over until GC version comes out, I no longer play DC PSO.

I play the game to get online and meet up with other people, I love co-op games and when I'm offline I get bored easier. The only reason I play offline is to earn the levels and then I am just about online-only.

And thanks for pointing out the network trial, I got the trial from FilePlanet-guess its different...

hehe... I have 4 char and i play 2 of them only off-line. And the other 2 i used it online but they usely got "killed". Off-line is pretty boring. I got a friend and he played pso off-line. He never has play it online and he still play it all day.

Offline can get addicting but if you have
other games you probably will play less PSO.

So hold up; you're saying *all* DC servers or being discontinued? I just *got* this game so that I could play with my friends.
Does anyone know if there's a way to host your own game, like in UO? Cos I'm down for that. No way am I going to shell out $300 just to get on a different set of servers.

All servers are going down at the end of august-and you have to pay 15$ for just one month.
And it only gets boring if you have a life http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I mainly play offline and I still play it to this day at least once a week. There are so many PS2 games that I'm having to make time to play PSO. I'm getting a Gamecube within the next couple weeks so I will be ready for PSO Episode I&II. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
