Note: I didn't know where this should go, so if this is in the wrong forum move it where it is supposed to be.

Anyway, I just recently got a modem adapter but I don't want to go online until I have a keyboard. So can anyone reccomend a USB -> GC adapter or a keyboard that already has a GC plug on it?

And I already know about the ASCII keyboard (but it's so expensive) and I've seen converters online, but where would you find such a thing in a store? It'd definitly be more convienient if I didn't need to order online.

I have this keyboard, and overall it's pretty nice. I bought it at Gamestop for $14.99 and it was a good deal, considering the neccessity of using a keyboard online. However, it's still so ironic that I'm not online yet http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif.

Out of all of those the Datel and GameShark keyboards are the only 'in-store' boards. The Datel board has a few more mapping issues than the adapter but because the board has the adapter built in, it is a cheaper option. None of the mapping issues are too terrible, just take a while to get used to. {Eg. Shift+2 is " instead of @ .} Enjoy whichever you decide to buy.

heh, I got my PSO from a friend of mine, and he gave me the keyboard and adaptor free of charge...the whole package only cost me a GBA, which I had two of so there was really no loss on my part...sometimes being me is awesome!

This can be considered to be bumping/going off-topic. Don't do this again. Consider this your verbal warning.
