View Full Version : Amusement Park Outrage (Cedar Point)

A few days ago, I visited Cedar Point and found their Park services (all excluding the rides themselves) to be a bunch of cheapos.

-3.50 for "Fresh Cut Fries" : what it really is cold sliced potatoes heated by the radiator

-3.50 for a "smoothie" : Luigi's highly sweentened ice, plus factor in the temp of about 80degrees Farenheit for a constantly melting pile of sugar flavored water

-2.50 for "Aquafina" : 1.29 at "7-11"

in fact...

-2.50 for "Pepsi-Cola products" : not only the drinks but snacks too, I mean imagine a Crunch bar in the temperature

I hate the service there, even if it's the only way to pay for their rides.

As a disgruntled customer, let me advise you to pack a meal, or get a stamp (for reentry) for the very close McDonalds, a few miles off the Causeway.

Yeah, I agree. You're going to pay higher prices, because ultimately it's either, bring your own food/drink, buy their over-priced items, or starve all day.

When I used to goto Hershey Park with family. We'd bring three coolers worth of food and drinks. We'd eat when we got there, then around 2pm we'd go back out and eat again. And of course we'd snack on stuff in the park if we got the urge for something. (Like funnel cake)

But then we eventually, as we went every year or so, we would just buy food at the park. Although we hated all the crowds.

But that $2 coke tasted so damn good! XD

$2.75 for a churro (http://www.tacojohns.com/graphics/Churro.jpg) at Disneyland.

Yeaaa!

A churro (http://www.tacojohns.com/graphics/Churro.jpg) is basically a bread stick covered in cinnamon and sugar.

I think people know what Churros are.

3.50 at Six Flags ove Texas for a Sno-cone drink. Basically, it's a load of ice with melted colored water, drink the water, let it melt, rinse and repeat http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

4.50 for a souviner glass (with coupon), and 2.25 for a refill!

At Hershey Park, if you pay $5 for a big 32 oz souvenir cup(with lid and straw of course) you get unlimited refills all day.

HMMMMM...$2 per soda(which are small as hell mind you), or $5 and infinite refills.....quite a quanderry. =O

I know that word is spelt wrong...and I don't care! =X

I never liked theme parks anyway, with the exception of Camp Snoopy. I love that place! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I was at kings Dominion today. Sodas there are 2.75 for a 20oz bottle. Why couldn't they make it a nice even 2.50 so I could buy 2 sodas for $5...

But I didn't go for the cheap sodas.
