Ok, I have a question, bein that im too lazy to search, how much will it cost to import a GC modem, and PSO GC EP 1, 2? Because I really think importing is better, prolly cost less to play online anyway, shorter than gettin it in October anyways, so how much man?

Too expensive, thats why I aint doing it, also you gotta mod your GC or get a boot disc. Too much hassle and nobody knows if it will work smooth. Remember the Ver2 hassle?

remember how v2 importers also got the game nearly 4 months earlier than the rest of us?

remember how you had to beg your friends who imported to hook you up with CHU CHU, ANGEL WINGS, and MASTER SYSTEM mags?

remember how when US servers were down and you werent able to log on, importers were still able to play on JP ships?

i learned my lesson the first time. waiting until Sept.25th to play v2 killed PSO for me. i won't make that mistake again.

I might consider importing depending on how much the boot disks are and how effective they work. Modding is too expensive and I don't mind putting in disks everytime I get on, I mean, I'm not that lazy.

It's actually really easy to mod (http://www.phosphors.com/gcn/region%20switch/) a gamecube yourself.

I imported, it was very difficult. You didnt go through the hassle obviously.

I would do that but I'm afraid I'll mess up my cube...

The "hole" method, which is described in there is virtually idiot proof. You don't even need to solder. Just put the wire in the holes and tape it down.

although i'm pretty certain you'd null and void all warranty by opening the case even to peek inside for shits and giggles...
not trying to be an asshole here, just playing devil's advocate

I got both US and JP V.2 and I found them to be equally difficult. See for some reason me mum's credit card doesn't work to japan, ever, or at least will never work for PSO. So until I found out about http://www.ecount.com I couldn't play online. With the US version there was some error saying a already had a liscense when I didn't (on the site, not the game). I'm just going to import this time.
