GC: Question for those with the GC ASCII Keyboard/Controller

When you use it while PSO is set to the English setting, does the keyboard automatically type in English? Or do you have to manually switch the input to English on the keyboard?

It automatically types in English. The only thing that might take getting used to is the layout of the punctuation keys.

if you want to switch between japanese and ... well.. western text, you have to play in japanese language setup.
for some reason, you cant switch to typing japanese in the other language options.

Best thing to do as far as using the japanese text goes is to create shortcuts and then switch back to english. The shortcuts will stay in hiragana, katakana, kanji- what have you.
