ok i'm not online yet because my broadband adapter is on backorder but is meseta used for anything online(besides the shop)?

Meseta is used to buy points in the Rappy's Holiday quest. It is also used in Gallon's Shop to play the minigames, buy music DISKs, and giftwrap items.

Don't forget some quests use meseta for... uh...special effects as well. (In GC for now at least.)

Phantasmal World 3: You can spend meseta to acquire a temporary barrier that will stop all enemy attacks.

I believe each temporary barrier is 10k.

I don't use them though since they make the quest too easy.

I've never timed it, but it always seemed like the barrier lasted for about 20-30 seconds.

Don't forget about mag feeding, meseta can help majorly on that. Oh yeah, there's the Dressing Room. And among other things.
