I am on PSO GC version and am from the UK.

I need to know everything.
I have a GC Dail Up connection but my dad wont pay for the dial up, which is fair enough.

Firstly, Im looking for a Broadband connector to link from my GC to let me play PSO without extra fee (Exception = HL).

After being pointed to a decent GC Broadband adapter, installation advice would be nice. Cost of HL.

Anything after that I will ask after Ive done that.

Thanks in advance.
Post if its not clear.

Ok I was a teensy confused by your post, but I'll try to help you out anyway http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif So, you do have a dialup connection atm right? And you're saying that your dad won't pay for an additional dialup account?

I take it that you want the broadband adapter so that you can use ICS (internet connection sharing) to get your GC online, is that correct? If so make sure your pc has a NIC (network interface Card aka ethernet port) to plug the crossover cable into. Which brings up an important aspect of this setup. You will need a crossover cable (also known as a patch cable) to connect your GC to your PC. Using a standard ethernet cable will not work because of the way the pins are positioned.

Anyway, you can get a new Broadband Adapter here. (http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=76&products_id=778&PHPSESSID=efe637088929cf40bef24cd72606f36f) Nintendo.com sells them also for less but they won't ship to the UK unfortunately http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif You could check Ebay and Amazon also. I know Amazon.com has a used one which you can check out HERE. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/offering/list/-/B00007DWBL/all/ref=dp_pb_a/002-6779644-5020043?s=videogames)

**UPDATE** I found a cheaper one (which is also new) at BUY.COM (http://www.buy.com/prod/Broadband_Adapter/q/loc/15323/50017311.html).

Last time I renewed my HL I think it was $8.95. The first month is free though http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
