Normal Ruins and Dark Falz Help

Hey everybody I'm new to PSO World but i've been playing PSO for a little bit. Anyways, I was wondering if I can get some help on the Ruins and Dark Falz in Normal mode, like ideal equipment, level recommendations and strategies. My character is a Level 30 Skyly HUcast. I hope I'm not asking for too much.

You should be able to beat Ruins and Dark Falz at level 30. Here are some item recommendations:

-Buster
-Lockgun
-Repeater
-4 Slot Frame
-1 Resist/Freeze
-1 Resist/Flame
-1 General/HP
-This one is up to you.

Also, make sure to raise your mag.

If you are having trouble with Falz, just look over some of the guides.

If the guides don't answer some of your questions, feel free to ask about it on the forum.

OK, thanks Ryna. The only item I pretty much need off of that list is a repeater and a 4-slot frame... I think I'll go check the Item database. Another thing: is a Level 70 Varaha a good enough MAG for the Ruins? Once again, thanks.

You can also substitute an Assault in for Repeaters. Though you may want to equip a General/Arm or Elf/Arm unit if you do.

What are the stats on that Varaha? What kind of photon blasts does it have?

OK I have a few assaults and those units.. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif And I'm not quite sure what stats are what but the photon blasts are Farlla, Golla and Pilla. I think it has 7 MIND but thats all I remember... And since I have an android thats useless... I'll get those stats later.

For a HUcast, be sure to feed your mag items that raise ATA and POW. You can find mag feeding guindes in the "MAGS" section.

Also, when you fight Dark Falz, be sure bring a long a couple of Scape Dolls (if you have any).

OK, thanks for the tips. I don't have to worry about scape dolls though, because I have 6 or 7. I'll get the MAG information tomorrow and be sure to post it if I have time.

Kethups famous guide...now you dont have to make a rare mag, its opinion...its best to have these sats for you character

Hey, thanks for the tips! I beat Dark Falz with a Level 84 Varaha with:
DEF: 18
POW: 40
DEX: 19
MIND: 7

I got this MAG from another character so thats why its stats are like that. Anyways, I beat him (he was easier than I thought) and I found my first Al Rappy in Hard mode, which got me a Last Survivor!! (My first non-quest rare other than a PD:))^_^ Now, I just need to get 100 more ATP to use it...

Blegh, I need to get off my fat lazy butt and update that guide, my sticky, and the guide made from my sticky.

And I would personally suggest 5/145/50/0 or 5/135/60/0. The extra 2.5 ATA may help slightly, and 10-20 ATP is not a huge loss on a HUcast. DEF is always a waste on Mags (with one exception in my eyes - MIND Mags).

Well Dark Falz is a bit of a tough boss in normal mode but he shouldn't be too difficult. A tip for the ruins in itself is using mechguns. If you have sufficient accuracy you should be able to pill quite a bit of damage quickly and without taking a lot of damage. Since you're a hunter the Dark falz should go down like a pill of bricks, just for safety you may try to be lvl 32 when you fight him...that is if you like overkill.

Also, I've beaten PSO for the GC but am thinking of starting PSOBB. I've gotten very confused though do you buy the game or do you just download it from a website? Also, are there game cards for it?

If you have questions about BB, it would be best if you started a new topic.

Anyways, you download BB from the official site and register for a Hunters License.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "game cards."
