The point is people don't like ST trickling content that has been available in previous versions of PSO for several years. I fail to see how people complaining about milking content is unjustified.

People don't like things not going the way they want them to. Usually, they end up getting impatient and irritated because they're greedy. I'm sure there will be some unseen bug that could have been prevented by test delay, and will cause more complaints from the same people that complained about content being released "too slow"

Also, previous versions may have already had this content, but guess what. This isn't the previous versions. You can't pick up a different version of a game and expect to have everything handed to you on a silver platter.

But before I do that, I'd like to say that patience is a virtue so for those of us that are still in BB, rejoice as waiting paid off! Now the really high lvs can get the items they've been waiting for!
But can you imagine how hard ep4 will be!? It's gonna be nigh impossible, as I never conquered ep1 ult even at lv 120!
I'm not gonna complain about c-mode though as I never did finish it on v2. I'll just wait and see.

Well it's not like this is holding you back in any way. From Lv 90 to 200 eveyrone is on the same level, so you'll be alright when you get to Ult. Not that i would ever back up any of the whiny brats on psobb.com. Ultimately, upon the new difficulty is released they will only then complain about battle mode and challenge mode...give an inch and take a mile. However, it's true in a sense that ST probably would have had more of a successful launch if they were to allow access to all the difficulties to episode 1 and 2 and make ep4 the featured new "content". It makes sense right? I mean, episode 1 and 2 regardless of the difficulty has been around, what 4 years?

Not that i'd ever find it anyway, but i'd much rather want a chance at finding a god/ability before i would have a chance at centurion/ability...in VERY HARD! lol.

Frankly, i couldnt care less. I only have one char ready for ultimate and im sure my other chars will suffer because i will inevitably rush them through to get to ultimate. I don't have the willpower to exploit the lower difficulties.

if you see it from the point of view that we are still waiting for content that's been available for a while, then they have a fair point. we live in a society where everything is instantly available, mobile phones, the internet etc etc and it does tend to make people very impatient

Also you'll notice that a lot of people whining about things on the BB board have very low post counts (there are exceptions of course) and generally only sign up to be annoying and childish and complain, whereas others complain because they are pissed off with ST's apparent lack of commitment to it's own game and feel that they are being cheated out of a game that could be amazing

actually, I think the reason why the US BB content isn't following the JP schedules release for the same content is quite simple, we live in different countries, just like how many people on various PS related boards have argued that PSU's inability to Create your own Character offline is stupid, they just have to realize that the JP community comes first, not us, now since US BB isn't handled by the same team that handles the JP version (regionally speaking), don't expect for the US BB community to be the same as the JP community because we are not all the same in our fundamentals.

Also, Sega of America doesn't program the games. They translate and possibly patch any problems that arise (most problems get referred back to Japan to have them fix, thus why translating games takes so long) Thats why, when there is a problem on EngBB, it takes a while to get it fixed, whereas when there is a problem on JPBB, it takes maybe a couple hours at most to fix, and they even post letting people know its fixed instead of having them spam the servers and hope its lucky.

Lots of people have since quit EngBB and gone to JPBB simply for the content and community. They've met a ton of players who speak English, and other than reading item names (Which they're quickly picking up anyway) they prefer it by far. I had to buy the member upgrade finally. lol
