i just got the modem adapter and was wondering if earthlink worked with it?

Earthlink should work. I've known quite a few people that have used it in the past for DC and GC PSO.

Earthlink should in fact work perfectly well. Coincidentally, Sega.net switched its customers to Earthlink subscriptions when they stopped offering their service. That's kind of irrelevant trivia, but it should at least tell you something about its PSO compatability.
