If I get Online for PSO 1&2 PLUS. Will my guy get erased or deleted?

There is always the danger of your memory card being corrupted. That usually happens when the game freezes during a save point.

No. It's perfectly compatible with standard. You can play Plus for a while, lose the game, switch back to the older one, find the game, and play Plus again, and you won't lose so much as a meseta.
