online mutliplay

hey is it possible to play a multiplayer game online with pso 1&2 @ GC?
cause a friend of mine who also plays pso but doesnt has online wants to play to and i thought lets do those online missions together in a team but is that even possible or does he have to buy a adapter himself?

Do you mean splitscreen on the same gamecube online? No.

He'd have to be online too, on a separate IP and HL.

why the hell cant you play in multiplay online?
stupid sega designers they build an online mode for teamplay but this is just fake its like just frauding people for extra money....

The game was originally multiplayer in online only. The fact that GC got a split screen mode is just a bonus. Also, Sega could care less what you think.

Well the thing is... Sega probably could do such a thing with a little work, however, like every other company in the world, they are profit driven. Why would they let 2-4 people play online on the same GC at the same time for the price of one HL when they can force those same 2-4 people to buy 2-4 seperate HLs and therefore make more money.
