what the heck does things like "unreduced level 3 specials on the red weapons" mean? I read the sticky, so don't anyone bellyache about something like "well if u had bothered to look..."
Thanks

Generally, specials on multi target weapons have lowered effectiveness per target.

So, for example, a gladius with a paralyzing special would be more likely to work on a single target than a gungnir with the same paralyzing special.

There's probably better examples, but hopefully that gets the point across.

An unreduced special means that even if you're using a weapon that hits multiple targets, it'll still have the full effectiveness of the special on each enemy, making it much more useful comparatively.

Isn't it also reduced for weapons that hit one enemy tons of times? (Mechguns, Daggers, etc.)

no
they ALWAYS have unreduced specials, it's only weapons that hit more than 3 time

slicers, shots, etc are reduced bu 1/3 (i think)

some others 1/2 like souble sabers and daggers

but i would need kef to confirm as i am not the "unreduced special" expert
