Never tried Challenge: Advise needed

Right, i know absolutely nothing about challenge mode if i am to be perfectly honest.

So i need to know basic facts and also tips on how to succeed so i can get my beloved s-rank mechguns.

I am going on holiday for a week but when i get back i will check this forum and then do challenge mode straight away.

So i'm counting on you at PSO World!

yeah ok, thats seems like a good idea. I didnt know/think that there would be guides about challenge on this site, but thats where im off now.....
