I'm trying to get the site to really take off as I do the news section on it. Maybe one day it'll rival mamak and this place. or.... maybe not.

I gotta say I love how Sonic Team haven't just ported old DC code for the lobbies, and have gone all out with this new stuff.

I remember one of the producers of the game saying how the Gamecube was good with handling water effects, so I imagine that fountain (and the water on the beach level) will look excellent when you're playing the game on a decent TV set.

I'm also digging the idea of bigger lobbies, with chairs, multiple levels and scenery to mooch at. Waiting for friends will no doubt be 10X more fun in this than on the DC.

States now around Nov, that means UK not till next year! Whats up with that! The video games industry should get its act together with release dates.

Especially for online games, they should get a simultaneous release.

Well, even though I'm importing I have to wait till OCtober to get the Broadband adapter for the GC. It's going to be incredible playing PSO through BB.

No it wont. The BB will most likely only prevent the Dial up time. You will still experience annoying lag because there will be Dial-up players, unless sega changed the way the game handles Lag from PSO and PSOver2. This however is unlikely because it will allow multiple players to pick up the same item. This was actually one of the first "Dupp" methods. Players would drop the item to be dupped. Then the player that droped it would unplug the phone line and pick it up. At the same time the player still connected would pick it up. To remedy this Sega made it that no items can be picked up if a player looses communication with the server. Now if they change this perhaps BB may be worth while.
