Some of my recent Anime-Fanarts http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y274/FoLina/Anime/Id4250k.jpg
Viewtiful Joe wannabe.
Something I did for my DeviantID on DeviantART, the wording at the top is kinda hard to see, so blame Photobucket.
Was based off Shinguji Sakura from memory with blue hair.

Celluliod Acetate wannabe.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y274/FoLina/Anime/AoL250.jpg
Pastel Colored wannabe.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y274/FoLina/Anime/Sakura250.jpg
Sakura wannabe.
Used a reference frm ADV's Sakura Taisen website, so it looks more accurate now:

Overall you do really good however, and this is something I seemed to notice, You seem to gloss over the chest area. Not that I'm trying to say you should spend months on any particular piece but in the first picture, as an example, you seem to go by the old comci book standard of not having a line or any hint of shading to denote she has breasts leaving a unaboob look. Even on smaller breasted women in dresses of that cut you would see some definition in that general region in addition to the bone structure of the sternum and coller bones.

In the seconed picture the armor looks fantastic however again the chest area seems to be glossed over. Perhaps its due to a lack of lines or shading or something but it looks, in my oppinion, like its a curvey woman in flight capible armor, thats hiding behind a red piece of paper that covers from her coller to her bellybutton and another covering her bikkinie line. Given the rest of the woman its something that looks off. Perhaps some shading at the corners where its supposed to round off and back would help. Input from somebody else would be welcome.

I REALLY like the wings on the third picture and, unlike on the first two pictures, you have some shading, but not too much, to denote that this woman does indeed have breasts. I personally don't agree with the color choices, then again I'm not partial to pastels, personal prefferences playing there. My favorite out of the whole bunch.

I like the last picture. Nothing overly complex, not too simple. My one complaint though is a personal one concerning fashion. A purple/magenta shirt with a red skirt? that might technicly match but it feels off putting to me to have something that contrasting without some sort of accessery tying the two together. However that is just personal oppinion. Its a good piece.

Please, keep your work up. I look forward to more.

Edit: First reply, WOOO!

Old Comic Book style pwns! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Second picture was the 1st of this batch, was actually aiming for an acetate sheet type finish, with lack of shading.

Tell that to the character designers, though in the original her 'shirt' is a few shades whiter than it came out in my image ><

so then....what 3D program are you using? 3Ds max or Maya?

They look really cute. ^_^ The only thing that bothers me about them is that you appear to have used a 3D modeling program to do them, and didn't alter the base at all. >.< The expressions are the same for the first two - the only thing you did was apply new textures/materials/whatever they're called in whatever you're using (my guess is Poser?).

You did a good job with the poses and the textures/whatever, but... Meh.

The third one I like better, if only because it reminds me so much of Clover by CLAMP (confusing as it is, it was one of the first manga series I ever read, and I still love it ^_^).

Out of curiosity, did you make the bases yourself?

Cookie for you!
I'll umm... alter the bases next time. I was too busy experimenting with the shading and got lazy... ><

Ooh, I get a cookie! ^_^

I don't blame you for messing around with shading and stuff - it's so much fun. ^_^ I can't wait for my Materials and Lighting class next quarter for that very reason.

Oh yeah, the bases are actually a hybrid of existing models, it's like genetic engineering of the 3D World!

Poser 6, AnimeDoll's head, Aiko 3's body, and assorted clothes from DAZ3D and Renderosity (?). http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif (SnowFox102 here, woohoo!) Excellent work, it's not easy to get toon renders to work correctly. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought an AD/A3 hybrid would be a good idea. I wasn't even aware that somebody already did that, I'm downloading Madoka now.

You've inspired me to do some renders with AD! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

BTW, I'm baaaaack! http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/coffin.gif http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif Don't expect a lot of posts from me though, I'm really busy with my job and stuff.
