Very pretty! It also looks like she just sliced through a Dimenian or something and it's splattered all over the place. o_O

I would reccomend working on foreshortening. That's a big weakness of mine, so I really shouldn't talk, though. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif Overall, excellent work! Nice use of color and shading, and I like the pose.

Oooh, foreshortening! That's a really good idea which COMPLETELY eluded me :S you're right, adding some more proportion/perspective stuff would really improve the picture. (I knew SOMETHING was missing! Hehe!)

On that note, since I'm planning on improving the picture, could everyone tell me what they do and don't like about the picture (and how it can be improved) so I know what to change and what not to?

Great attept, its a very advanced angle you went for, and you've nearly got it there. Just a little more refinement in the angles and it should look great! I especially love the purple squigy bits everywhere. Looks like someone put a diminion in the microwave...

Ok, I tried adjusting the perpective a bit, did a bit more shading and added some shadows (damned blood shadows took me ages but you can hardly see them http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif) but here's how my picture looks at now... (at 50%)

Very, very noticable improvement! I for one do notice the shadows, but I pay attention to details like that because I know just how much work goes into them. I am not sure just what it is, but I really like the style. She seems to be in her "zone" and just doing what she does best. Not sure how to explain it, but, it just really fits and flows very well. I hope you like the results as much as we all enjoy them.

now try to balance de gamma, you are using very saturated colours, normally in a pic theres 2 light sources, try to look at photographs that habe the same ilumination as what you're attempted for, you have very good sense of lights/shadows but try to correct the colors, its hard to explain for me in english, but pay attention on how the diferent colors change depending on the enviroment ilummination, mh...
