Because it gets all cold and nasty when its in the fridge. And being room temp doesn't make it go bad. Also, I have yet to see a bottle of Heinz that says "Refridgerate After Opening". And I'm the http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_ketchup.gif connoisseur.

then you must not have paid attention a while ago when myself and another posted images of Ketchup bottles saying they need to be refridgerated :/
