PSO Portable

I know it would probably never happen EVER!!! But if we put our heads together, wish REAL hard, and post as many posties things as we can, SEGA might consider thinking about talking about it. Post anything about the idea. Suggestions and ideas for anything in or about, and you can vote on which portable it would be on, the PSP or DS.

(P.S. Please don't say anything about the GBA Phantasy Star, it sucks)

I haven't got either, don't intend to get either at this present time, but I'd probobly end up with a DS over PSP, so I voted DS.
I don't have a PS and am rather pissed that PSU is coming out on the only console I don't own :S

No, no more ports. If they do anything, make an original game. :| Which is pretty hard for ST to do. Look at PSU; it's like they are pouring their guts out into that game just to bring back players.

They aren't flaming. Think of it more as people expressing their disapproval at seeing another port of PSO.

They were 'thinking' for PSP... but as for PSO on DS, I would think more like shining soul type graphics for it except with Golden Sun sprites.

I would like to have a portable version of PSO, but I'd only get it if I were able to transfer my existing characters from PSO to the portable. Restarting just takes too much time when you've already poured hundreds of hours into your original characters.

Eh... Neither system is designed for that type of online play. IE, no keyboard and microphone would take up way too much bandwidth over common wireless internet connections. I would rather see something like... a new Phantasy Star game on the DS. RPGs have so much potential on the DS I believe the potential is absolutely mouthwatering. I would rather have that type than another online type.

I don't disagree that porting old games can get.. well, old.. but there are elements of PSO that WOULD work well with a portible system. Proxy system linking with 3 friends could make for some great multiplayer without needing a keyboard. Portability always breaths new life into games. Honestly y'all, who in here has ever been on a roadtrip/vacation/anywhere but in front of our game and thought "Man, what I wouldn't do to be playing right now. Am I crazy here? I wanted to only list 1 aspect of PSO that would transition well into a portible setting. Can I get some feedback on some others? BTW, this is my first post, so HELLO!

In the Episode 1 & 2 forum, generally anyone can reply to any topic whose last post occured within the last 2 weeks. In this particular case, the reply fell within that time span.

I think what everyone would REALLY like is ep 4 on GCN and XBOX. Alot of console gamers have low power computers and buy a console because it is cheaper. Also, I'm 183 with s-ranks and a Lavis Cannon... that's not something you just give up
