That's right folks. The gas prices in most of Massachusetts have now risen from $2.50 to $3.25-$3.50.
(Good news, we got rid of my dads gas guzzling truck and my mom's Mazda minivan in favor of a corolla and a focus). What have they inflated to in your state, those of you who live in the US and want to vent about it?

Jumped from $2.50 to $2.90 ~ $3.20 almost overnight, in California's Central Valley (Fresno area, in specific).

I got gas Wednesday night at $2.87/gallon. Thursday I was at work and noticed it was $3.85/gallon. That was a lower price as well.

Since then, it has lowered to around $3.40-$3.55.

Time to start walking/riding bikes.

That or save the money needed for a hybrid car.

One station today was $3.05 for all 3 types.
First time I've ever seen that before.

And yeah, a $.20 - $.25 price jump within the last week or so, Bay Area.

I'm so glad that my car requires racing gasoline, wich hasn't changed in price for a long time now. Although, it's still expensive as hell.

$3.20 where I'm at and I am one broke person now. I carpool some of my friends so I'm always using up gas. It takes $40 to fill up my car.

The highest I have seen in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago is $3.35.

But to be honest, I actualy feel sorry for the UK citizens, who have to pay $10 a gallon...

1. Convert the USD to GBP (for those of you playing the home game, they mean US Dollar and Great Britain Pound)
2. They pay per LITTER (about 3.8 litters in a gallon, IIRC)

Yeah really...but I think the prices might just settle at 2.90, which is still friggin expensive but not as bad.

Still, I can't believe that some people are riding along in their bigass cars completely oblivious to the fact that they need to pay 100$ per week just for gas. It's not fair to those of us like my family who are trying hard to be conservative with gas.

If they didn't, we would have lower gas prices. That should ease things up, shouldn't it? The problem is trying to make that happen...
