it has a low chance of instant killing an enemy. it either hits and kills them, or it does nothing at all.

I don't know if you've ever tried a higher lvl megid in ep2 buut the chance of it killing somehtin is quite good!

Megid is an insta kill tech, please use the guides! (http://www.pso-world.com/sections.php?op=viewarticle&artid=1006//)

Tech power-Resistance is % i believe

If you want megid to work well, I think theres a weapon that adds a bonus to it, I think it was Demonic Fork. I don't remember what it does though.

Demoinic Fork and the Dark Bridge add piercing to Megid (just like the FOnewearl's natural ability). They don't boost the success rate though.

Technically, it doesn't doost the success rate, but it does boost the rate of success. i.e. Megid going through 3 enemies has a higher chance of killing something than Megid hitting one enemy

my fomar's got level 29 megid, doesn't kill much at all, maybe claws or something =d...even in sub-ult. i rarely play ep. 2 though, that might be why. the fact that it doesn't pierce [without foney or megid-boost] doesn't help either, i'd much rather spend twice the tp to cast a grants that hurts than a megid which probably won't hit - and i rarely use grants at all http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Dark resistance is high in ep1, megid is only good in ep2 IMO

Yes but level 30 Megid should be 100%. So level 30 megid on Epi. 1 is insta kill, or ST is screwed up.

It would be 100% if an enemy had 0 dark resistance. Unfortunately, the enemies in Episode 1 have very high dark restistances.

So it's best used on episode 2 monsters. Since they are hard enough to beat normaly

I think megid starts at around 10% instant death and goes up by 1.5% every level, but I'm not quite sure.Either way, it takes luck early on for it to work.

OK, i have never really understood megid, but listening to the post sbove made me think of a question,

Does the success rate of megid increase, the more mst you have or is it purely on the level of megid that you have?

Also if none of the above increases the chances, can you say what does increase the chance of megid killing. Thanks
(obviously except for what has already been mentioned http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)

It's purely Megid level, but it's also indirectly increased by higher MST, because the more MST you have, the higher Megid levels you can learn.

yeah i understand, i meant if you had an extra god mind equipped then would it increase the chance.

No. As far as I know, all that determines if Megid works is Megid level and EDK.

If you have high Lvl Megid, it's good in Battle mode. It gets past all the HP that a lot of Hunters have.

What's the best armor/shield combination for having a high EDK?

Brightness Circle + Delsaber Shield or Rupika give 50 EDK, the rest is easily gotten through Resist Devil.

Robots can alternatively get Gratia, it adds "only" 24 to EDK but the other resistances are fantastic.

Forces that can't equip these can get a Light Relief and... ermm... I don't remember. Maybe Forces can equip Brightness Circle, I've never tried. Rupika should be equippable.

Hmm, alright. At least most of the stuff is easily attainable. Thanx http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
