What is the highest percent on a weapon you can find on the offline gamecube version? Because I hear all the time that people get percents like 70 or 80 on a weapon, but I think it is because they play online. The highest percent I have found on a weapon is 50. So is 50% the highest percent you can find (not bought at the store or a weapon that was tekked to 50%) in offline, and 100% the highest percent you can find in online? Thanks.

100% in any area. -5% is the lowest.

For reference, I believe 60% was the max on DC v2(and -60 was the lowest)

The highest ive ever found are soul vulcans 55% on hit - multi-tekked from 45% - and a silence claw with 80% on abeast untekked. Both were found offline.

Yeah, offline or online has nothing to do with it.
I've gotten quite a few 70s and 80s percents offline, personally.

Friend also found one of the 9 star mechs in an offline game, tekked to 90 native... waste of percents.

Why did you say it is a waste of percents? I think that 90% is EXTREMELY good.

Percents increase damage based on the ATP of a weapon, which mechs don't have a lot of.

Found offline by me. Sad that the % was on such a useless attack weapon.

You can find 90% online or offline. 90% is when untekked. (Can you find plain weapons with 95%/100%?)
50% is the most you can buy.

I've found one which tekked to 100. Diska of Braveman.

Not sure about Ketchup's question, about finding something such as a regular Gladius 95%-100% on something. The most I've found on a regular no-special weapon is 85%, on a gungnir.

I found a 70% machine regular laser and a 65% machine regular gatling on xbox. So it's most likely possible to get higher %'s on regular weapons. I think most people just dont pick up the weapons and check them. I check every green or ??? weapon. Just a habit. I cant help myself. If a 100% hit regular weapon pops up i'll keep it as a trophy.

I actually have a varista with 2 yes 2 100% catagories, dark, and A beast. Also it has 15 machine. Offline.

I'd say that percents have nothing to do with it. And if I ever get online the gun is up for trade (:x off topic...)

bwaha, got an 85hit rainbow baton http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

i think the highest you can find via shops is 50...might be wrong though. i've never seen anything about 50, but have seen several 50s on sale simultaneously.

Shop weapons will never have more than 50%, and in no more than 2 areas.

The % you can find ranges from 5% to 90%, no more, no less.

That would explain the 'tekking' thing you guys do. Helpful, but time consuming.

Just to get a full % in a category.

The highest percent I have on any weapon, I think is only 70. Which is Machine on a Hells Laser(not hit http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif)

The highest hit out of my weapons would be my Red Saber with 60. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

60%hit Custom Ray http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Other than that, I don't tend to see past 50%, though as seen here, it is possible.

I found a 90% hit dragon slayer on GC.

And not long ago, Blitz posted a picture on the den00b forum of a 100% hit Yasminkov. I don't remember if it was the 7000 or the 3000, one of the rifles, anyway.

I currently have 3 weapons with 90% and a Hell Raygun with 45/0/0/45/70. All on USABB.

I have on at least three occassions picked up weapons with 100% in an area including a pallasch with 0/0/0/90/100 (Falz went down pretty easy on that run). All three were in challenge mode in Ruins where tekking is, of course, not possible, which might explain the 100%.

I have on xbox seen 85% hit weapons come out of the roulette after PW games. Haruna hit a glitch where she got 85+ lucky coins and kept spinning for weapons and other items.

I have a quick question:

I noticed that if say a weapon has say 20/0/0/0/0, retekking only changes the one with a non-zero. So tekking it again might result in XX/0/0/0/0, but never like a XX/0/0/15/5. Is this how it always is?

And what happens when its all zero across the board? I tried this myself a few times; they stayed zero. I usually don't retekk things, but it seems to be the way it works.

Just curious if anyone else actually knows.

yeah, default zeros stay zeros no matter how many times you tek them.

Percents can only change in areas that already have at least 5%; and they can only go +/-10%.
