I got online on BB today down at the local internet Cafe today, and must say it was very awesome!
I've been wanting to play for ages, couldn't really do much in ep4 though, but some higher level'd people took me through the first level, which was cool to see the new monsters and scenery, but I hadn't got a grip of the controls at the time.
I found the controls were a massive let down, sometimes you couldn't turn around very fast, which was anoying for me as I'm a HUmar, so I'd run away from the enemies, then not take long enough to turn around, and I'd end up attacking the air, pretty damn annoying but I started to get used to it. Changing weapons wasn't as swift as it could have been either, on the GC I change weapons a lot, and being able to change weapons in less than a second I find helpful, but pressing ctrl+end then weapon took a bit of time, and a few times I hit the home button instead :S.
The definant ups I found with BB is that, probobly due to it being pay to play, there were no idiots playing, by idiots I mean everything from people who don't understand the game, all the way through to people who just try and annoy you. It seems everyone thats paying to get in on the action wants to play the game, which was great! Was a bit annoying though when people of high high levels wanting to help, come in and just slaughter everything.
I played with a few noobs to BB too, and they had a very good understanding of PSO, I cannot remember his name, but I played with a really awesome RAcast most the day, we were slaughtering everything we came across!
Good game, makes me wish I had a computer that could run it so I could use it all the time :S.
