If you suck at video games, this thread is for you.

Yesterday, I spent over 20 Moon Atomizers on two players, respectively level 32 and level 29.

In ruins.

On NORMAL.

20 Moons x 500 Meseta = 10,000 bucks right down the drain. This isn't good especially when I'm struggling to get a mag up to par.

I was a level 19 RAcaseal. I died only once. You do the math.

When we got to Dark Falz, I told 'em I'd skip my turn since I couldn't possibly survive at level 19.

Just then, a level 10 exclaims: "im gonna give him a shot"

Sucky people, this is one of the many ways you can fail at video games. Watch and learn for hell's sake.

I got 50,000 on my HUmar if you want it...

Anyways, what mags did they have when they were in the ruins?

Mags mean squat in this situation.

Shuri basically saying these people lack game skill

Welcome to BB http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

What I find as bad is when you have players making stupid mistakes and blaming lag for everything.

Really though, I assumed they'd died on Falz, until I read this was before. Then I just laughed. >_>

Like Arthas said, I have some money if you ever need it. I'm only blowing it on Charge attacks anyway http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

A wee little update.

While playing Ruins Normal with 2 other people, the same RAcast from before comes in again. He comes down and starts fighting.

Let's remember, that RAcast is 11 years old.

For a while he had been ordering the team around. "Wait" "common" "wait" "common" We were either too quick or too slow for his taste. Either way, I had once again to tell him several times to shut it.

Then someone has to go eat. RAcast begs him to stay but the guy really, really has to go eat. He leaves, leaving RAcast saying "DDAMMMMMMMIIIIIITTTTTTT!!!!!"

A few rooms later, the RAcast dies. One of the party members got to revive him a few times. Sure, RAcast was doing close combat, but he was out of mates and had been begging for some for a while. I refrained from telling him to go shop for them.

Then that second person gets disconnected, leaving only me, him, and a level 10 HUcaseal who connects a few minutes later.

I notice an odd behavior in the RAcast: he charges forth with a saber type weapon without care for the consequences. Hence, he merrily leeroys a Dark Belra, upfront, without even attempting to circle the monster before giving a shot.

And hence, RAcast dies.

Immediately, he orders me to revive him. NOW. I have 2 Moon Atomizers in my pocket but I tell him I'm out of moons and out of cash. He doesn't care, he DEMANDS that he be revived THIS INSTANT 'cause he has to KILL STUFF. I then openly tell him I ain't spending another penny on him.

Then he says "i have a lv100 mag i dun want to lose it do u understand???!???????????"

I don't answer.

"understand???????????????"

So I count the story on how I spent 10,000 bucks worth of Moons on him and his friend last night because they were too fucking stupid to learn the enemy's patterns and heal when it was the time to. So of course, the RAcast starts bitching and whining at me.

The level 10 in the meantime stands by and watches. At the end, he says he's broke as well, but sets up a telepipe, telling RAcast to just spawn back at P2 and then pipe back down to the ruins.

Against all my expectations, RAcast REFUSES!

Level 10 ends up selling some of his stuff at the shop to buy a Moon and revive RAcast. In the meantime, I gun down the Belra, while RAcast tells me "fine, then ur gonna die here". I point out I died only once in the last few days, while he died at least 10 times yesterday and 5 more times today. RAcast then asks how I lost 10,000 meseta to him. I re-explain the situation.

When he gets revived, he finally agrees to give me 4 Moons. The equivalent of 2000 bucks.

When I got my disconnection error several minutes later, I didn't bother trying to connect again.

I'd point out the off chance that it's soeone who knows what he's doing and is just messing with you and causing you to spend money and in way, griefing. Charging with a saber to a belra with no mates and begging to be revived by a moon after being revived so many times leads me to suspect he had you on a string and was having a good time watching you play with it.

Shouldn't have spent so many moons on him. Set a telepipe and let him come back through it. At this point he'd lose hardly anything, and definitely not his mag. If he refuses to go back and take the pipe, let him sit there.

8 more days Shuri.

Be thankful for that.

Jeebus, I didn't know the whole story, and am saddened by what went down yesterday with that RAcast dude and you. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

You can easily offer the ultimatum to leave him.
Your teammates can certainly agree to leave the game and go pass-lock a team leaving him out.

Why did you meet up with this guy again after how bad the Ruins went down last time?

Delete guild card, and run away, as if he's a plague.

I would do this with C-mode people who would give me headaches within only one game of playing with them.

I was a RAcast in Ruins with 3 hunters. One gave me their Brand soon enough and some HUnewearl was running around the rooms, not hitting anything. With a buster type.

I asked why, and got no response. HUnewearl told us to kill everything ourselves, and him/her didn't want to get dirty, or hurt. We gave the HUnewearl most of our mates as well, and we weren't even half done with the stage.

How they even got into late c-mode stages is beyond me. Probably due to those people who used cheats to walk through walls(to go straight to the boss) and turn lv 200 in c-mode.

Or random c-mode dudes who would grab every item in every room and tell us to shut up when we asked what the heck he was doing(minimum # of items needed to oepn doors and things, teamwork). We disconnect and he searches us down in the same lobby and ask why we left the c-mode game. We pulled a "lol internet" immediately and hid from this dude like he was the plague. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

there's an easy way... tell them to pay for their moons. you'll most likely not see them again, but... this seems to not be a bad thing.
besides this, if youre in real meseta trouble, just ask someone past 140 or so to give you 100k

Man Shuri, sorry you had to put up with such a moron. I wish I was there, I would put a moonatomizer on his dead body and say: "OMG IT DONT WORK" "Im sorry" Pick it up, and walk away.

I remember when I died in Lineage 2 and someone offered to revive me, but at a cost. So I agreed. He revived me, and I payed him. Maybe you should do that? But then, whos to say he would pay http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_nono.gif

did i ever tell you that you are too kind? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_hamster.gif

if i was doing babysitting i'd be using reverser, after cleaning up the whole room -- and it's items of course -- so as not to bother with moons. but then i'm usually a force. and naturally i'd share what i couldn't use with the downed baby. they tend to be item vacuums, so the respite would be welcome.

reverser is slow, but thankfully cheap. and it's a learning lesson to work as a team and not as some junk kamikaze. you'll be surprised what you can teach someone when they have no other choice but to listen. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

oh, and i'd try not to babysit all that often.
