PSO on next-generation consoles

Has sega announced a new PSO title (hopefully similar to Ep. 1 & 2) on the next-generation consoles.
This will help me pick out which one is actually worth purchasing, thank you.

Um, how about PSU instead? PSO is about 5 years old, they can't keep upgrading it forever. PSU is the fresh new PS project. I doubt their will be PSO sequels anymore.

But they do have a PS game being planned for one of them. This is at least a year in the future though.

Yes there are PSO games on Next gen consoles:

PSO 1&2 on Xbox 360 using the Hard drive for BC

PSO 1&2 GC for Nintendo Revolution with BC

It's just that they aren't...'new'.

Wait for the PS3 to hit the 5 year mark for being out to the market and you might see PSU v2...

In all actuality, if Sega cannot pull off PSU, you most likely won't see another PS"O" game. So, let's hope they don't mess up this time around.

PSO is PS2 and PC:

Which does mean that PS3 should be able to play it, but it won't be made for PS3 abilities.

When is anything a promise with ST? *cough-ult. olga/falz drops-cough* But, on topic, anything that can keep the people like us who enjoy the game enough to spend countless (sort of, with the whole timer thing) hours on PSO from switching to some other game is fine with me!
