(WARNING: Before you go on please note that my typing and spelling is wrose right now than it has ever been).

Today around 3:15PM ESTI was woke up by the sound of my friend knocking on our front door. I quickly got up and dressed (by this time my father had already allowed him in). As I walked down the hallway (which is only 1 person wide) I fell to the ground and had a seizure. It took my dad and my friend, Paul, to finally relize this wasn't a joke and called for an ambulance. I cameto around 4:00PM EST, in a hospital bed, with 2 nurses pull my shirt over my head. I quickly freaked and fought them away then relized I was in the hospital, on one of their sreatcher beds. I resided and let them do their work, I already had 1 tube of IV running, 3 monitor plugs, and 2 shots (to test my blood). Bad thing is it took them nearly 12 hour to finish with me. 5 shots, 2 rooms (had to move me to a less caution room, meaning less doctors come around to us), 2 IV and 1 thing of medicien (hooked up like the IV was) til I was finally finished (the medicien made me really light headed and sorta muffed my hearing). So here I sit before you, light headed, very hungry (doctor said not to eat anything for another hour :/ ) and healthly FinalMasterM http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Also, reason my friend was over was to tell me I got a job, woohoo!

Don't got it, that was part of my 12 hour visit. They acctually don't know why I dropped right there *points to hallway* and had a seizure. Gonna take it as a fluke and keep living like I always have, except now with a job http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Seizures suck. My best friend (of whom I have known for practially all my life) had an epileptic seizure from playing JSRF last spring break. Nobody ever knew he had epilepsy, and we have pretty much played video games all the time we had known each other. That's also the first time I had ever seen someone have a seizure, and I was pretty shocked by it, too.

...

Stay away from that hallway!

He needs to cut back on killing the kittens. =X

Finalm, this is your intervention. Now..everyone gather round and tell finalm why he needs to stop killing kittens and how it's bad for him, and how we care for his health. =o

..ok..maybe not.

Does stress cause seizures? Lack of sleep? High or low blood pressure? Not enough food in-take?

I really want to know what caused it.

My mate's old hamster had fits and seizures and epileptic fits...

Feth knows how it lived as long as it did!

Whenever I hear the word "seizure", Dir en grey pops into my head for some reason...

Call me insensitive, but I always laughed whenever Beavis "had a seizure."

That's almost on the top of my list of "stuff I don't want to happen to me." Sorry to hear that you had to go through it.

"Feth"... heh. Isn't that from the Gaunt's Ghosts books?

The human body does screwy things occasionally, and sometimes nobody ever finds out why...

Glad you're in good shape, and glad you got a job!

(there are about 50 retail and service stores around me that "will call me if they need me" ...x_x)

Brava on the job!

But seriously, the docs had no clue what happened and they're not gonna check into whether you have epilepsy or not? The reason I ask is because, I myself had epilepsy for awhile before I finally outgrew it, so when I wrote that they gave you an IV I was semi-confused. As for the 2 vials of blood, that sounded about right. If you do eventually end up getting tested for epilepsy, let me warn ya, you're gonna need a catscan, 2-4 more vials of blood taken from you and an EEG... enjoy your nice clean hair while you got it, cuz the crap they put in your hair to glue the suction cups on is awful! Glad to hear you are ok though! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
