I was wondering if anyone misses any TV shows that have ended or been cancelled, or maybe that they cannot see in their own home but has seen somewhere else.

I guess it's kind of random, but are there any TV shows that you wish you could see more of? Or perhaps a TV show you hated when you were younger, but found out more recently that you liked it? =)

I catch afew episodes of The Cosby show every now and then, same with Fresh Prince of Bell Air and Full House.

Used to watch them all the time growing up, and there are plenty more, but I forget their names. I'll prolly start remembering them a week from now.

What was that one show with the anthropomorphic cows? Western theme. Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was a game too.

Space Ghost, (And the 'talk show' Space Ghost coast to coast), and Speed Racer were pretty cool too. Hardly any of my friends my age remember those shows. I feel old. :/

Umm I can't think of anymore but someone on here mentioned Night Court but if I'm not mistakened, I think Night Court just recently started airing on TV Land.

Haha, the Sonic show. Where Tails had a skateboard for some reason and they both ate chilidogs. That show ruled.

I miss Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Pete & Pete, as well as Beyond Belief (SciFi was showing reruns during the day this summer, but I can't seem to find it anymore).

Mork & Mindy can be described precisely like this, for me. Good ol' Robin Williams.

Though, it's out on DVD now, I should go pick it up...

Haha, I remember Are You Being Served? from PBS ages ago. That is indeed a very funny show. Saw the full series on DVD not that long ago, but it was either that or Monty Python's Flying Circus so the latter won.

Hmm.. shows from when I was a kid...

Family Matters was pretty funny.

Bill Nye the Science Guy? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Uhm... let's see, what else... Star Trek: The Next Generation could've gone on longer, but I understand why it was ended. The seven year mission was over, so they started Deep Space Nine... Oh well, I have been watching all the old TNG episodes lately and have been having a grand time.

Awesome, lots of TV shows I forgot about after looking at this thread again. I remember Ducktales, that was my favorite childhood show, or at least one of them.

Personally I miss Invader Zim and Daria, as well as some of the old Nickelodeon game shows too. I was a big fan of Looney Tunes when I was a little kid, but they don't seem to show the old Looney Tunes anymore, oh well.

Does anyone remember the show "Oops" that used to be on Fox? No one I know except me seems to remember it. It had the girl who does Lisa Simpsons voice, Yeardly Smith I believe. She was also on Hermans Head... Maybe she was just on HH but I know the show Oops exsisted. It was about these like 4 or 5 people who lived on this farm after like a nuclear blast they were like the only ones who survived somehow.

Oh that and "Sliders" http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I do, in fact, remember Oops, Guntz. I would suggest that it was short-lived mostly because of the oddly late time slot it had. 10 or 11pm isn't exactly the best time of the evening to start off a new sitcom.

Concerning Yeardley Smith, she was indeed in Herman's Head, but I don't recall her being in Oops. I can see where you might get confused, though... The cast of Oops was fairly similar in stereotypes and filmed in an identical fashion, plus it aired immediately after Herman's Head.

Interestingly, Oops is mysteriously missing from the Internet Movie Database (http://www.imdb.com), though Herman's Head is very much present.

Yeah I noticed that it wasn't on that site either. I thought that was kinda odd, I don't think its listed on TVTome and like every show seems to be on there. Ya know I wish that show would come out on DVD, I really used to like it. I mean they put "Get a Life" on DVD, another Fox show I loved but got cancelled quick.

Oooh somemore, "Out Of This World" it was about a girl whos dad was an alien and she had his alien powers, but was still half human. She talked to her dad through that crazy cube thingy. "Sledgehammer" was great and is also out on DVD, I gotta pick that and let it sit next to my Alf DVD's. Honorable mentions go to "21 Jump Street", the very old I believe ABC cartoon of Dragon Warrior. Really cool cartoon the hero had to find this sword then get to this giant floating castle to save the girl who had this wacky flying bike. No seriously it was a real show, I swear. Meira, back me up on this one I know you remember it.

NBC's Ed.
(I've said it all over the place here.)

Such a great show, but not on DVD yet! (and no longer on TV either. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif )

Bowling alley lawyer, going back to his high school crush, her already having moved on, he shows up in a suit of armor in front of her class. She laters does it when he moves on to a new relationship.

$10 bets with his best friend to do stupid things, teacher/principal relationships, Kelly Ripa being a person who made a new list of things to do everyday without fail, Ed trying to stop a wedding by showing up on horseback in a white suit, that damn dancing banana(peanut butter jelly time!) just lots of funny things going on. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
--

Step By Step was great.

Sasha Mitchell plays Cody. I remember him from those Kickboxer movies(fighting Tong Po in every one. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif )

He reminds me of Cody from Final fight for whatever reason.

It was like a Full house/Brady Bunch kinda show. Lotta siblings, step siblings living together. rights of passage thing, crashing a car in the driveway, shaving without a razor, girl asking cody why he's this old but still is a virgin, He "hadn't met the right girl yet", father and mother wanting to have a baby at an older age and thinking how old they wil be when the baby turns 18(and they have it anyway!).
--

Boy Meets World

Mr Feeny. Topanga Lawrence. Cory and Eric Matthews, Sean Hunter, etc.

Great show. Growing up, middle school, high school, college sorta thing.

Cartoons, animated stuff?

Oh by the way, someone mentioned The Maxx and DVD. I actually have The Maxx on DVD, I got it at the only convention I've actually been to.

It's a lot to handle. I remember him talking to me about the two worlds that The Maxx was involved in but it confused me a bit. I only read the first few he had, but he had more than what he showed me. I saw the DVD at the con and got it for him. I kind of forgot to give it back to him, and he moved... Oops =/
