It's been awhile since I touched my GC version and i'm almost 200(196 currently), but i'm sorta playing BB now and with PSU coming next year, may never touch GC PSO again, so I just want to know if I should invest some days to play GC PSO and hit the milestone i've always wanted to hit, or just reach it via BB.

here's some other pics of random pic.phone taking I did of some stuff that I hope to regain on BB.

My AF's stats (wonder if the fact that I got it on greenill made it that much better lol)

I say sure go for it if you have the time and if you find offline boring then you can go online.

After 6 months away from pso I got back online to try to get to 200 even though the server I go to seem to be pretty empty at time. >_>

My Aura Field was found in Oran and has 284 DFP (1 from max) and 150 EVP (4 from max).

It was is my 1 and only AF i've ever gotten, was just jokingly refering to the fact that maybe high drop rates of armors mean better stats.

just needed a positive boost in a certain direction, getting feedback was what I was going for because some people have hit 200 on this board and can testify if it is worth it or not, sure i've always wanted to hit 200 but if there is only a menial little gleam I can get from hitting 200 then whats the point?

That's for you to decide, not us. Some peopel think it's worth it, others do not. You can ask us what we think about hitting the maximum level in an RPG, and you'll get different answers. If you choose to base your decision off those answers, then you're only doing it for us, not yourself.

It's up to you to decide if it's worth it or not. Do you feel the effort is worth the reward?

Not for others actually, I do want to hit 200 but on the other hand, there is still the whole process of going to that level, its like the "should I hunt <insert item here>?" that often floats around various boards, I have always wanted to get to 200, but after playing like 700-800+ hours of solely offline(and like 40+ online) play and now playing BB, I just lost the drive to do so, its like playing an RPG and not killing the "ultimate" boss in the game, sure you may have wanted to at once, and strived to do so but got lost somewhere along the way, thats the point i'm at, the drive is still floating around but the mindset is not.

Then why ask us if you should do it or not? I think you missing the point I'm saying. It's your decision, and it's your choice. You should know how to weigh the effort/reward ratio and know if it's worth doing yourself. You shouldn't be relying on others to make decisions for you, unless it was to understand both sides of the issue.

Since you obviously know the upsides and downsides ofchoosing to spend more time on it, then you should be able to make the decision.

I think it's more or less the fact that i'm trying to find a reason to do so, it's like when you ask your friend if you should buy X game or not and vise-versa, it may or may not change the decision you'll ultimately make but it will influence it.

In short, i'm kinda looking for a reason TO hit 200 rather than just quit and leave a goal unfinished... so what do you guys think would be the best way to get the most xp offline? continuous SOAB or forest-ruins runs? i'm thinking that if I can devote 1-2 hours a day I could hit 200 before the new year and usher in the coming of PSU.

Same logic applies. Why would you allow your friend to influence your choice? If they said "Yes, buy it", then why are you buying it? Because you want to, or because your friend said so?

Why would you level to 200? Because you want to, or because others said so?

Ignore Skorp please.

Go for the milestone. Cause you never know. Something might happen and you can't get it on BB.

No, yank out your memory card while saving. That's what I'm influencing you to do. I could care less if you do or decide to hit 200. Don't be so insecure about it. 200 is a number, just like 1. 83 million exp is just like 0. Or at least that's how I see it. How do you see it?

Why ignore me? I'm asking him if he thinks it's worth it. That would be the only answer he needs. I'm telling him he should do it for himself, not for you, not for me, not for anyone else but himself, as long as he decides it's worth it. I've suggested that he decides for himself if it's worth it, and to make his own decision in the matter.
If he decides the reward is too small for the effort, then that's his choice. If he decides that he wants to spend that time to gain the levels, then it's his choice. None of ours.

So why should that be ignored?

Honestly, asking us is quite silly. You already have made up your mind, just sounds like you want other people's opinions to validate a choice you have made. To me it appears that you no longer want to hit 200. See, in the end, you want to, or you don't. The minute you are asking yourself is you should, most likely it means you don't want to.

Actually, I wouldn't ask if it wasn't in mind, its more or less, point-point a reason to buy it, I bought USM because I wanted to, my friend asked me if he should buy it hence why I used that example, he's been keen on buying it afer watching a few trailers but nothing says "it's safe" then advice/help/suggestion from a friend or someone you know who has extensive knowledge in the matter, I'll probably try and go for it, maybe doing forest to ruins runs each day or 2-3 days a week till year end, if that doesn't make him 200 at that point in time, then I tried and failed and will never look back on it, if he does hit 200 good, I reached the milestone I've wanted to reach since v2.

The thing is, I think i'm kind of getting bored of PSO as a whole, after 5 years it really doesn't seem as good as it did the day I popped it into my DC, maybe this is just my way of trying to finish 1 goal in PSO so that I could "finish" the game in a sense, and it might just kill any inkling I have to play PSO as a whole(GC/BB)....I think thats the main reason why I probably don't want to hit 200 now that I look at it. But on the other hand, I could just be reading it wrong... but I think i'll just try the above method to prove to myself that its me and not the game thats getting "tiresome".
