DOOM movie

I didnt even know this was coming out. I just saw a preview last night. Does anybody have any opinions on this movie? Is it worth watching? The preview didnt show much.

But it'll be loaded with CGI and no substance, and all the little Doom3 kiddies will eat it up because of afew "cool" scenes and giggle with glee that it's PG13 and they can go see it without their parents.

He said that he actually didn't want the lead role, because then it would be just another "The Rock" movie.

Eh, the Rock really isn't too bad an actor. Sure, he plays the same character all the time, but he did an excellent job with his multiple parts on the first episode of Saturday Night Live that he hosted.

I suppose that doesn't really mean anything.

But yeah, those FPS scenes in the movie? Pure crap, from what I can see. They don't even look like they're actually from the point of view of a character. They look just like game footage.

You kinda think right of the back.. he always plays a single type of role so hes not a good actor.. but then he takes a role that is completely the oposite of what he is.. And it kinda makes u look at him different...


If your wondering what movie ben was in i was talking about,, i dont remember the name.. but he played a homosexual cross dresser, and very pashionately i might add... and the rock played a homosexual in BeCool... which is a reason i like him alot now..

I think the other actor you're talking about is Ving Rhames. He's a big black dude. I dont remember a movie where he was a cross dresser though. Unless you were thinking of Wesley Snipes in that movie with Patrick Swayze and John Leguizamo where they were all cross dressers.

i knew that guy looked familiar. apparently he grew up in a house less than a mile away from where i live now.
though i didnt like that movie. >_>

anyway, I'm hoping the movie wont suck, but that "fat people" movie made with the quake engine that my brother found could never be beaten by Doom.
