Dr. Eggman and his helpful androids are in their robotic capsules, and trying to get to "project Shadow". A transformer-looking robot pops down from the ceiling. Eggman exclaims, "!!! A lazer Hunter!"
he then blows the shit out of it with a machine gun. As the robot explodes, Eggman yells, "I'd say his Hunter's lisence just expired!!! HAHAHAHA!"

I was rotf, lmao.

Was that in the leaked Shadow video? That's never happened in any of the Sonic games I've played (which is all of them).

The only PSO reference I know of is the boxes in Mad Space in SA2.

OMG, I was flipping through channels and I just happened to run into 5 minutes of the Sonic X anime - yes, it's from the US one, and YES he said that.

That was scary as hell.

Hunters have to get licences to hunt animals. It's probably not a reference to PSO, and more likely a reference to the licenses you have to obtain to legally hunt wildlife.
