Can anybody tell me if the Dreamcast version is still playable online? I'm considering buying it, and this knowledge may swing me one way or the other. Of course, I expect this online pay not to be free.

Europe and Japanese versions are still online to my knowledge. The US versions are no longer supported online.

As far as I know, there is no legitimate way to log on to the JP/EU servers with a US version. You would have to employ other means to accomplish that (if they exist). Keep in mind you are not allowed to ask about those means on this board.
