Since I'm going to get PSU for the PS2, I am wondering about how I will get online. At the moment, I have wireless internet, and am wondering what kind of equipment I will need.

can a USB wireless reciever work, or is there a type of reciever that plugs into an ethernet port? I have no Idea and everyone I talk to at stores have no clue either.

little help?

If your PS2 is anywhere near your wireless router, just get a cable and plug it in. Bam.

All I know is that you need an Ethernet cable and a port. My neighbor has Wireless internet, I'll ask him how he would do it and get back to you about this.

I'll be having the same problem as you Scott so I'm not going to be much of a help.

Sorry.

But that wasn't an opinion. You were posting that you had nothing to add.

Whatever, we're getting way off topic here.

I don't know a lot about all this computer stuff but I agree with Tek, My neighbor mentioned something about that before so I could be way off.

In order to connect your PS2 to the internet using your wireless network, you will need to have a wireless router and a wireless bridge. You will also need to have the PS2 Network Adapter installed already.

If you already have multiple computers or devices using your wireless connection simultaneously, you probably already have a wireless router.

The wireless bridge is for devices that can't have a wireless card installed in them (such as a PS2, or a DVR). The wireless bridge is like an external version of the wireless networking card that you might have installed in your PC. The difference, is that you can plug an ethernet cable into the wireless bridge, and then connect it to another device (your PS2).

Here's a guide that kind of explains the process, and has a picture of what your setup might look like aftewards: Wireless Connections Overview (http://uk.playstation.com/networkgaming/story.jhtml?storyId=300335_en_GB_GUIDES)
