Does anyone here actually know how to turn the sealed J-Sword into the tsumikiri j-sword or do people only have theories?

Since this topic is about J Sword, I'd just like to point out that on Blue Burst, a SJS can have percents in 3 areas as opposed to the 2 area limit on PSOGC. ;O

Really? Oh, come to think of it, I remember the 15% SJS with 15% on 3 areas floating around.

Heh, I'd be happy enough without %'s >_<

The most an item can have %s is 3.

Yeah, but as far as everyone's aware, on GC/XBox, a Sealed J-Sword can only have 2 %'s. (Something to do with the kill counter I believe)

Just like with s-rank weapons(On GC anyways), the SJS uses the hex code line that usually holds percent data to hold, well...One bit of it has the hex data for the counter, while the rest of it is normal. I'd go into more detail, but the whole banning thing is unappealing.

No problem, I just remembered finding out that it can only have 2 percentage values.

Now if one would actually drop... http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif (spent hours on end doing PW#4 first 2 floor runs ;_;, and has a day off from Uni tomorrow.. guess who's gonna be in Tower again? http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gif )

Thanks a lot, I was wondering about that.

Made from killing 23,000 enemies with Sealed J-Sword equipped.

I thought it was 20,000.

23,000 enemies seems to be the widely agreed figure.

I still don't think I reached the 23,000 mark before mine unsealed, but that is the guide to reach, at least. Other people had to kill thousands more before theirs unsealed.

Seems to be a random number.

I got 23,000 from out of the item database, so tht's what I'll go with.

I refuse to accept 23,000 because I'm too lazy for it http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Kill counter isn't visible. You gotta keep track yourself.

thanks uriko - i can stop worrying now http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

have you had any luck finding yours?

None whatsoever, thanks for asking though.

But yeah, as far as I'm awarem the kill counter is invisible, you'll just know when you hit the mark when:

You use your quick menu and the Sealed J Sword is with your items (on GC, it's by pressing R+Y)

and, obviously, the 'Remove' option changes to 'Use'.

If any of you think that the SJS for GC doesn't have %'s, you're all WRONG! I have a Tsumikiri J-Sword with 3 %'s on it, so how's that?

Neith

Read what we've said.

A SJS/TJS on GC can have %'s in 2 areas.

A HACKED/DUPED SJS/TJS can have 3, but will not unseal if it has 3 areas. If your Tsumikiri has 3 % areas, it's a dupe.

Is it possible to use Photon Spheres/Photon Drops on a legit TJ sword to add percentages in a 3rd area (excluding hit)?

I'm not 100% sure myself, but I'm pretty sure Axel tried it, and it didn't work?

I'm not 100% on it, but I remmeber only 2 areas could have %'s on a legitimate SJS.

Thats what I tried Ryna. I wanted to add percents to Native,A.Beast, and Dark. Good thing I tried Native last though, because that area was the last priority. Paganini wouldnt let me put percents on Native after I put them on A.Beast and Dark. Im assuming that the kill counter takes up memory that was supposed to be alotted to the percents for a 3rd area. Its kind of along the same lines of why an Srank cant have percents. Thats my theory anyway.

Ok here is the answer nightshade. The Sealed J usualy unlocks at the estimate of 23,000 enemies killed but I did say usualy and that means that you can be lucky or unlucky and have it unlock at less or more then 23,000 kills it does not have an exact amount of kills needed.
