First played version was the Ep I and II series for the Gamecube XD I got it when it was first released....I hadn't heard of the Dreamcast version until waay after XD XD. I just saw it and was like "Whee! RPG! *picks up*

I've been addicted to it since XD I just wanna play BB so bad though ;_; *cries*

Same here. When I saw it in Nintendo Power, I thought it looked so damn cool. So I grabbed it, and now look where I am.

GC Ep1/2 was my introduction, by a friend who now thinks PSO's rubbish =P

I wish I had played the DC versions, just for a taste of them, but I never bought a Dreamcast =/

Actually I had a ROM of PS 3 which I played but didnt like. I then prolly deleted it or something. When I played PS 3 again after having played & bought GameCube version of PSO, I remembered playing it once. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif So I guess you can say GameCube PSO consious and PS 3 unconsious. Or something like that... Isn't that cute!!

Phantasy Star 2 blew me away back then. I own like 5 copies of that game now, just in case one dies of old age.
I got PS3 after that, then the PS Collection on Sega Saturn, then DC ver1, DC ver 2, and then Blue Burst.

Wow, has it really been three years? SO much has happened since I first played PSO... And, PSO was part of it all, if just as part of the relaxation between the tension. I can almost remember to the exact time at which I recieved PSOGC. It was around 10PM EST on December 24, 2002. And I still have that first character, as well as the drawing I did of her. I suppose though, the thing that I remember most of that was the fact that the family was finally back together after being separated for 15 months. That was the best part of that Christmas.

It all started with PSII for me. Good old DC Smash Pack. Then came v.2, then PSIV, then PSO+, then BB. Original was best, then PSO+ and v.2. BB is crap (too me) and I know there are many with opposite view.

I started playing Phantasy Star back in the mid 80s on my Master System. Playing through that game was always a blast.

PSIII for me too, then PSIV within a week or so of its release, then scrounged a used copy of PSII, then an even more used Master System and copy of the original Phantasy Star.

My first PS was PS3 on the Genesis and my first PSO was the DC version.

DC ver.1 fairly near when it first came out for the US.
Course, ended up playing GC version the most due to multimode.
