Just curious...has anyone actually really "mastered" using a Dancing Hitogata?

It's extremely irrating...I find that a lot of people don't enjoy using it due to the difficulty to using it properly...So just curious http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

I'm hunting the Book to make a Dancing Hitogata, but I didn't know it did something that was so different?

EDIT: Either way, it's a card, and I love cards, so yeah.

Here is an explanation of the Dancing Hitogata's attack from this thread:
http://www.pso-world.com/viewtopic.php?topic=87394&forum=7

From the moment you equip the weapon, it takes either five seconds, or an attack (that will automatically miss) to make a card appear. From that moment on, more cards will appear behind the character each five seconds, to the maximum of five cards that all encircle the character. When an attack is performed, all cards that surround the character will be shot away from the character in the direction they are showing, forcing the character to restart the process of collecting cards. Note that the cards encircle the character even while the attack is casted and will be released after the animation.

The Dancing Hitogata is the only weapon with this kind of ability. You can think of it as being a special type of card.

Heh, this interesting new development only makes the Dancing Hitogata more appealing to me, and now I guess my FOnewm will be gaining crazy levels hunting one... or my FOmar http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Well, whichever root I take, it'll be a long one.

I can't wait to fight Flow melee style with this http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Dancing hitogata was never intended to me a melee weapon http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif it's so damn cute.

I wanted to hunti this weapon. i was going to until i though. " if i get it then i could have just gotten myself a Guld."
And as seeing i got purplenums Lavis drop. That would be the same as GULDMILLA.

Breaking my heart forever.
I'll waste my life hunting and uber for Dana. But if i get bored at least i know countless runs in purplenum Ruins(which is goign to happen ounce Dana hits 200) then i can get that seksi little card http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

The weapon is useless for attacking. The cards spin around your character and shoot off in seemingly random directions. The TP Stealing special requires the attacks to hit a target, which makes the special worthless. It doesn't even boost anything other than ATP and ATA, making it even more useless.

Exceptional weapon for PJ, though. Master of the useless weapons with even more useless specials. ;p

I think most people just haven't been able to try one, because of the Book's horrible drops...

The book's drop rate is a warning, trying to tell you NOT to convert your usefull Hitogata. >_>

http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif Well, anyone getting the book will definetly want to transform it http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif
If you want to use a card to steal TP. Use Mahu, easy to get, thus it can be easily sound with hit. I found one with 30%hit. Plus FOne ata+reco box means no trifluid in seabed. <.< if only it worked that way!

I tried one on xbox that a friend loaned me.

It had nice animation, but was utterly useless as a weapon.

Not my cup of tea.

I believe the drop rate for a purplenum is 1/700 from a del lily.

1/788 for the Del Lily in Bluefull and Purplenum
1/394 for Redria Delbiters

That is the easy part though. The hard part is getting the Book of Hitogata... which I have been PD'd for 3 (?) times with my Purplenum! :@

Now that I actually hear what it doesn though, I don't want it at all. It sounds like a terrible weapon... though interesting.

I'll have to become, "Master of the Dance." http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

EDIT: Someone remind me, if I do ever find the Book, that I need to change my title to that.
