EP4: Boss rares...

I'm wondering which will be better for hunting boss rares when it comes out: Twords the Center of the Disaster, or a regular run, followed by 9-8 if Kondy shows up. Just how long is Twords the Center of the Disaster is what I am asking mainly. I need to know for my Rupika hunts (Yes, I am aware Shambertian doesn't drop Rupika, but still. I wouldn't mind getting a Triploic reflector, either.)

I'm not quite sure myself, but I hear a whole run of CoD takes about 15 mins. If anyone can confirm...?

Just hog them.If your team can increase the REAR, I'd say TtCoD is really worth it. Otherwise, it may still be.

CoD is a timed quest, and the timer is set at 30 minutes.

I wonder if the double Kondrieu trick works with CoD =/

I doubt any team will be able to increase Kondrieu's REAR to 20%, so the double Kondrieu trick still owns it.

Although Desert is much longer... oh well, not like I need anything from Kondrieu >_>

Why not do desert regular THEN CoD?
A 30 minutes timed quest is bount to be better than 9-8.

You can skip Desert 2 in 9-8, it does not take more than 30 minutes, on Ultimate.

COD is much faster then 9-8 and any regular desert run.

You essentialy just set a telepipe to a shortcut and pipe up and down near the gate to the teleporter in Des 2, you pass through ;o This also works in the merissa room in 9-5, if anyone needs to know >_>

I forgot to mention two things: One, You have to lay another pipe as soon as you appear and then pipe down again (In short, do it really fast). Two, It doesnt work on ALL gates and doors. You just have to try anyway though ;p

what is the REAR everyone is talking about for Kondrieu? if i had to guess by the letters... rare enemy appearance rate? that sounds right (if it is, i didn't hear it from anywhere, i totally figured it out on my own). How do you increase it? And what is the double Kondrieu trick?

Supposedly the REAR for Kondrieu increases 1% for every 100 times you complete TtCoD. (I read that on Tycho's site, i r smrt)
