I'm not sure how many others have heard of this but as of right now both North and South Korea are planning on having a single unified Olympic team, for the first time in over 50 years. The official decision isn't until December 7, but currently it seems to be going well. My only thought is it could very well be a huge culture shock between the two nations. The North being extremely poor and forced into isolation from the rest of the world, and the South being very wealthy today not to mention far more advanced on a per-person basis. I am just very nervous about the implications that this could have, both on Korean politics, and on world politics. What are your thoughts?

Seems like a reasonable next step, to me. Both nations marched under one flag, last time.
