Hypnotize

Comes out today. Despite having an illegal copy of the album for about a week on my hard-drive, I still went out to Best Buy to purchase it today for 9.99. If you have Mezmerize, you owe it to yourself to purchase Hypnotize (which, in my opinion, is the greater half of the album set). And, yes, the two albums do fit together to make a nifty dual-disk pack thingy.

Believe me, Hypnotize (the single) is the weakest track. Come on everybody, let's mow down the sexy people.

I started listening to SOAD a month or so before Mezmerize came out, and wasn't there for the Toxicity hysteria. I'm sorry, but I'd have to say that Toxicity is the weakest SOAD album. I thought mezmerize got really alternative rockish towards the end which dissapointed me since they are using the guitarrist as a singer.




edit: I just got the cd and wow I love it! but it has the same problem as mezmerize =D
which isnt that big of a problem

first time i've heard Mezmerize, i was a bit dissapointed. later i realized, that it's cool too and for some time the cd didn't come out of my cd/mp3 player.


but one day i found the Toxicity album pon my hdd. belive me, they miss something now, they've gone more commercial or something. i liked the hard noise of S.O.A.D. more.


and i think, i like Spiders and Sugar the most.

Each CD has been better than the last so far, for me.

Mesmerize was my favorite, and now this is. They just keep getting better.

I got it for 8.99 with a free t-shirt

It's a pretty good disk, Vicinity of Obscenity joins the list of crazy songs they sing, but for me, nothing has topped their first album.

A few other songs have been great like the cover of "Metro" and also "Marmalade."

I'll be looking forward to what they do next.
