I really dont want to wait for the US release of PSO2 on gamecube. And its comin out in japan like in 4 days right?

How many people are importing? And di you guys buy a boot disc or mod your GCs? What do you think would b the better way.

And I was gunna pre-order the import from http://www.videogamedepot.com, just the game, not with the modem adapter. Can I just get the BBA when it comes out in US and use it with the import game?

Any input or opnions would help.
Id liek the game to work if i import it.

I modded (http://www.phosphors.com/gcn/region%20switch/) mine. It's cheaper than a boot disc, more reliable and pretty cool. But if you don't feel comfertable voiding your warrenty, then go for the boot disc.

Does anyone know if EB would mod a gamecube? Cuz i dont feel safe doing it by myself, so im not gunna do it by myself. So whatevers cheaper, boot disc, or paying someone who knows what theyre doing to mod it. Anyone know of stores that mod?

EB, and any other state-wide game retailer would not modify a system, because modding a system voids the warranty, and game companies would frown upon such an action since importing shouldn't happen to begin with.

Your best bet is to ship your GameCube to NCS (ncsx.com) and have them mod it for you, which is what I had done. It'll cost about $12 or less to ship it to them with insurance, and it'll cost $38 for the mod and them to ship it back, so it's about $50 for the whole mod job.
