unlocking difficulty

i was just wondering if i beat hard mode in multi player would i perminantly unlock veryhard mode

I'm assuming this is either PSOX or PSO GC, and the answer for both would be, no. You have to beat it in singleplayer to unlock it permanantly for single player.

No, but if all of your players were lvl 40+, then you'd be able to play it in multiplayer. Just beating a difficulty in multiplayer never unlocks the next one.

Like they've said, in order to completely unlock the next difficulty in multiplayer, all the characters playing need to be over a certain level.

Hard Mode - 20+
Very Hard - 40+
Ultimate - 80+

However for single player, you need to go all the way through the difficulty in episode one to unlock the next. Your level does not hinder you from advancing in single player.

Also, lets say you beat Dark Falz on Hard mode... you can now play Vhard... AND you can play Vhard Episode II, even though you only beat Hard Episode I. So either episode you choose... it doesn't matter.
