Skuda's latest photoshop assignment: Pokemon World

I thought I'd share my lastest photoshop assignment with you all. I'm quite proud of what I've accomplished. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

The project was to make a front end design for a possible future game/movie.

We needed to make one splash page and 3 other that show things like selection and text.

a large portion of this assignment is vector related.

hope you all enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed doing it.

The only thing I would do differently is use 3d models of the pokemon instead of the 2d ones... unless of course, you were going for the handheld approach >.>

I love the loading screens, and the images you used. My only problem is probably the font used for menus. Otherwise, awesome!

Like PJ said, I'd use a different font for the menus. Also, the picture of Lugia you used is a bit pixelated along his wing, perhaps you could find a bigger/better quality version of that image?

Other than that, this is a really nifty image. I especially like the awesome loading screen. ;o

All the pokemon with the exception of Groudon sort of clash with the cleanliness of the sorrounding layout, being that their colors are not all that intense.

But regardless, the idea, and the way its all been put together is rather impressive.

It looks great, but a small thing I notice is that lugia edge looks alittle jagged compare to the others.
