Indeed, it has been a long while since I posted art here. And it seems much of what I posted before has been lost to the infinite vastness of the internet. Well, I've been drawing more recently as my health this year is many times better than that of last year.

Unfortunate as it may be, many of my drawings have been forever ruined due to the wonderful process of, "It-should-have-been-taken-out-of-the-bag-sooner-so-it-would-not-have-smudged-but-I-didn't." That and many of the originals have been crumpled in crowded folders piled in my desk. C'est la vie when you are dealing with well over 1000 drawings, no?

Another problem I encountered was two harddrive failures, one of which was a manufacturing flaw in that particular series and the other was due to corrupted sectors that were unable to be recovered. Anyway, this means that I lost the original scans and the drawings are no longer in suitable condition to be scanned.

I do have good news though. I have been scanning in more pictures lately and still have some of what was able to be recovered from the corrupted harddrives.

This is the only remaining copy of kuribo. The original is completely destroyed leaving this rather small, and smudged, piece as a shadow of what it originally looked like. I really liked it and am still kicking myself over not saving these pictures like I should have.

Ah yes, Vincent Strassler, of one of many projects that went completely down the tubes. He was a pretty cool guy, even if my style at the time was a bit... lacking.

Zdarich [Pronounced Darik with a long 'a', think 'dar' from Spanish with 'ick' on the end] Zdarich was just a completely random drawing, the best kind.

I remember drawing this one, I was outside during art class two years ago. I used my shadow for the outline. So, in a way, it is a self portrate... sort of, not really. I dunno why, but I really liked the way it turned out. I think it was because he came out so happy during the time of which I had a hard time being happy myself.

And the last of this set. Whenever I see it I think, "Monty Python", for some reason. Not quite sure why, because it seems a bit too... sophmoric, for their humour. However, it did make me feel better in any event.

Anyway, so as not to make my post any longer than it is, I'll post more later. And while I realize most of these are not "PSO related", I figure there might be someone here who will enjoy the others. Still, gotta love kuribo.
