What's the best shield for a FOnewm?

I was looking at the Item Comparison and I couldn't find anything good for him that I can get on my game. By the way, I have PSOGC (not plus, and not able to get online)

I would prefer defense, and I'm level 108, bout to be 109.

Defence... I think the only ones that are available to you are Secret Gear and Attribute Wall...

the regen gear bp is prob the best overall shield. very high stats and regens HP/TP when you block.

also check out the rupika for higher def and 25 dark resist.

if you can find it, get a tripolic reflector for elemental resists.

I think this shield is blue burst only??? and he is on gamecube so i doubt he will ever find it lol.

Tripolic Shield works fine with FOnewms if you don't want to use a Merge. It will be harder to find but far higher stats than Secret Gear or Attribute Wall. Plus, you can actually see it (which is only a good thing if you like how it looks).

The best IMO is Red Merge since in Ult almost everything is weak to fire.

If you need extra dfp theres always jellen/deband def mats and you can raise def on a mag

Smoking Plate is a frame, not a barrier.

Tripolic is an excellent shield to use, and it's not a real eyesore, either.

Can they use the standstill shield? That sheild kicks ass, with like a crappy ultimate frame as a RAmarl i easily have over 1000 DFP. If not tripolic is cool plus you can make him look like link with green then just need an ancient sabre or something.

FOnewms cannot use the Standstill Shield.

If you are in immediate need of DFP, then a Secret Gear or Attribute Wall is the way to go - which one you use is dependent on what area you're in. They're easy to find - your friends might have one if you play online. Otherwise, yeah, Tripolic Shield ftw, though it's a lot harder to find than the former, it'll give you the DFP yer lookin' for.
