Has anyone been able to locate an alternate keyboard for the Gamecube? This will come as no surprise to everyone but I'm not looking forward to using the one currently on the market.

Ive heard Zippo. I dunno, it looks ok, its relativly small, compared to normal keyboards.

ASCII is currently developing the controller/keyboard hybrid that everyone seems to hate :/ I think it's a fantastic setup....

It's already made. You can buy it from an import store for $60...

But I don't know of any others. You could try to make your own, but that might fubar your gamecube. I'm sure by domestic release a normal keyboard will be out.

I wasn't clear enough... ASCII is developing a standard keyboard alongside the hybrid.

The price is the only reason I'm not getting it. Paying $10 more for a controller than I'm going to pay for the game, added with the cost of playing online, and the modem, is a little much.
