View Full Version : The Arkz Guide to Xmas

It's that time of year again!
Time to beg for a GBDS? Time to think about PSU? Maybe...but it is also the holiday season, and it's important to make it go right. Now, if you are worried that your holiday might not be 'up to par', you could be left out in the cold! Well, do not fear! Not with this fully illustrated Arkz guide to the holidays.
(which, with an intro like this, you know will be completely absurd)

Tip #1
Be sure to eat lots of holiday goodies! Just be careful of the fruit cake.

As a bittersweet note, this will be the last holiday spent on PSO by nearly 100% of people, so it's important to have it go right. (on to psu!) Want to add your own holiday tip to the thread? Even if you're a Hunter? Want to color what's here? Go for it. These are basically a series of little quickie-scribble things with 1 panel, to be updated on a somewhat-regular basis by adding another until the big day is finally here. (as the song was, previously)
Anyone who has been here for ages probably remembers "The 12 days of PSO xmas song" that was posted a long time ago...

Nice picture of the slimes, kinda reminds me of that far side comic 'Guess who spoiled their dinner again.' Jellyfishes talking to each other, and one of the jellyfishes has a cake slice that is visible in it's body.

You can go caroling and sing Xmas songs outside people's houses. They like this. Sometimes, they will even offer you food, such as pies, hot drinks and pinecones. Wait, pinecones?

Oh well, it's the holiday spirit that counts, right?

Here are the first 3 days of Xmas, from the old song.
It ends up that I have to work a bunch more then I thought, so just posting them all up--rather then it not happening at all.

Nope, still didn't get a bigger tree.

http://psotnl.merlinwebs.com/XmasSong/2slimes.jpg

Sorry, Zelutos that it isn't a Xmas hat, but rather the star from a tree.

Well they ARE red+green.
If you actually say the days aloud, it comes out in tune with the song. "3 Nar Lilies, 2 Pouilly slimes and a raaacast in a pear tree!"

Getting someone something they can use is always a nice idea...

While it might not be falz or flow (need to think of something) decorating is part of the holiday fun. For a truly festive holiday, leave no surface un-tinseled...But should we draw the line at things which move?

Go for a sleigh ride in the snow!
Ok it isn't exactly a sleigh, but that's not exactly a reindeer either. (Don't be fooled by the disguise nose!)

Someone has been building snow rappies!

Another great Xmas activity is to lure your loved ones under the misletoe and sneak a smooch!

Endu should've looked up!
(Does everyone suspect that the GoVlumer with the pink claws is a girl? I wonder if it is so...)
