I need to know, as Lame D'Argent is grindable, does it need to be max grinded to unseal? And if so, does it have to be fully grinded to even count kills?

I dont know and i dont care because i dont play on blue burst however in my opinion not grinding it would be a waste, the more grind=the stronger the weapon will be, so grind away little one.

Delfi, don't be such a rude ass.

I doubt you need to grind it to the max to unseal it...

Lame D'argent must be grinded to unseal, I believe.

Wrong. But you might as well grind it anyway.

It does not have to be grinded. It has a kill counter and when the requisite number of kills has been made, a "use" option appears when the item is selected.

Selecting the "use" option then unseals the weapon, turning it from the elegant Lame D'argent to the highly functional, but fugly barking dog weapon known as Excalibur.

No fanfare at this episode, but the Excalibur is a wickedly devestating weapon to slice through Ragol with.

Just so there isn't any doubt:

I would only grind it if you wanted to use it above normal difficulty.

Only just realized this topic title is 'Unsealing Excalibur'..heh >_> Lame unseals to make Excal., Excal does not unseal to make anything.
I think it's clear what you meant though.
