View Full Version : Icebreaker anyone?

So, my sister and her fiance came in to visit last night. Her fiance, Mark, has long hair. When I went to bed last night, my sister was on one side and he was on the other side of the bed in the basement.

I wake up this morning, and wander downstairs sleepily. My sister and I are close, so we generally snuggle and stuff. Sometimes I climb into bed with her. I crawled beside and started snuggling the form closest to me with long hair. Petting the hair.

It was only after I stood up after that I realised Jen was on the other side of the bed, and I had been snuggling her fiance. http://pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Oops. Oh well, that broke the ice fast, considering this is the first time I'm meeting him. XD

Hey it's a great icebreaker really. This is assuming you were confident afterwards and not all "OMG I'M SO SORRY !! *crazy blushing and running around in circles*." - then it'd just be awkward forever more.

"Pff, I had to check if he was worth it." Would have been a good one.

I think we need a sequel to the SSB commercial.

I was embarassed at first, then realised it was actually really funny and ridiculous, and I suddenly didn't feel as uncomfortable around him anymore, because, really, you don't get much more awkward than that. I guess it was for the best. My sister thought it was funny.
